- (Premium / Deluxe) Our Anti - Theft "Immobilizer" Map is an exclusive feature to our Premium & Deluxe tuning options. Once active, this map allows the vehicle's engine to turn over, but with the throttle input / response completely negated. If thieves gain access to your keys - they won't be going anywhere in a hurry. An immobile vehicle with the engine running is the ultimate theft deterrent. Best coupled with the Bluetooth / Key Fob Map Switches.
#2: Standard / Stock ECU Map.
- (Premium / Deluxe) Our multi - mapped tuning options allow access to your vehicle's standard tuning file. This remains untouched by the Unichip Module and our Tuners, and is able to be accessed for any engine diagnostic purposes for engine faults, as a means of troubleshooting without removing the Unichip Module. It's also a great means of comparison when toggled between the Performance map, and to surprise any suspecting passengers...
#3: Economy Map.
- Unichip Europe's Economy Map is intuitive by design. Simply put, the Economy map, once active, recognises and eliminates any of your sudden throttle pedal movements, eliminating the one variable stopping most people attaining the best fuel economy - you.
- Also includes a "failsafe" - at full throttle, the Unichip recognises this as an emergency throttle input and will give you more power. Following this, the map itself is designed to give you more power to reach cruising speed more effectively, thus improving fuel economy too.

- Premium Edition: This option comes with 5 pre-programmed map settings to choose from in real time. You'll receive your pre-programmed Unichip X Module, complete with the wiring harness. The ideal option for those wanting the ultimate driving experience and our selection of versatile map settings. When selecting this kit, you'll need to pick your preferential map switch in order to access these maps. Note: By purchasing the Premium Edition, you'll receive a FREE map switch. - Deluxe Edition: Opulence. This option comes with our 5 pre-programmed map settings & our exclusive "Key Fob Edition" switch, granting the user access to 7 buttons. 5 of these buttons will be programmed to switch between maps - 2 of these buttons can be programmed to control gates, garages or any other wireless device. Can I install a Unichip plug & play kit with limited / no technical know-how?
Yes. Our kits are designed to be hassle free & simple to install. Locate your ECU, unplug it's existing wiring harness, plug in the Unichip - job done! If you're unsure about the process, our workshop is open Monday - Friday | 9AM - 5PM GMT. Give us a call!
Will I need to purchase a Map Switch, too?
If you're purchasing a "Premium" or "Ultimate" Kit, then yes, you'll need to purchase a Map Switch in order to access our pre-programmed maps. If you're purchasing a "Standard" Kit, you will not need a map switch, as they're programmed to hold just one tuning file. Refer to the product listing's title if you're unsure.

How are your tuning kits different from chip tuning boxes or remaps?
Chip tuning boxes share only a few similarities with the Unichip Module. They'll typically alter just injection timing or injection pressure. The Unichip gives a reputable tuner a myriad of different parameters to manipulate, creating a far superior tune, a much better spirited drive, all while ensure there's 0 risk to your engine's mechanical components. A remap will physically alter / overwrite your existing ECU file. Done correctly, and you'll have access to one map with more power. Done incorrectly, and you risk damaging your engine's mechanical components. These changes are semi-permanent; if your remap is bad, you'll have to take your car back to the manufacturer to gain access back to the existing file, for a hefty price.
Is this product safe for my vehicle's engine?
Yes. Unichip Europe pride themselves in developing remarkable tunes at no cost to your engine's integrity OR mechanical components.
Will this product leave any trace on my engine?
No. If your car is under warranty or kept through a hire purchase agreement, you can rest assured that all Unichip Europe tuning kits will not tamper, change stock/existing ECU files or leave any footprint on your car.
Are your products adapted for my vehicle?
Yes. Every single Unichip plug and play kit has been tuned on the exact make / model that you're purchasing, on our in-house rolling road by our expert tuners.
Is this product easily removable should I wish to?
Yes. Simply unplug and remove the kit from your engine bay / ECU location, plug in your vehicle's stock ECU wiring loom, and it's like we were never there.
How long do your Plug and Play kits take to install?
As a rule of thumb, the majority of our kits take 30 - 45 minutes to install. Most vehicle ECU's are relatively easy to locate. However, some are located underneath / behind the glovebox. If this is the case, we'll provide instructions on how to easily remove the trim with generic tools.
What are your Exchange / Returns / Shipping Policies?
If you're not completely satisfied with your product, you've got 30 days to send it back to us to receive a refund. The bespoke nature of our plug and play kits implies that exchanges aren't applicable. Please ensure that you've correctly identified your engine code and checked your existing ECU connections / ports and cross - reference them to our images provided. There will be a handling fee for any incorrect purchases. Don't hesitate to get in touch with us if you're unsure; our small workshop team have all been part of the development process, and know these vehicles inside out! There is a shipping fee incurred with all of our products, which will depend on your location. You may find out how much this is during the checkout process (don't worry - it's before you submit your order!). We aim to have your kit assembled, uploaded and quality tested between 3 - 5 working days. All products are sent by a fast delivery courier service.
Does this product come with a warranty?
The Unichip Module itself comes with a 5 year warranty. The quality of the build and the nature of the product means that only 1/400 Unichip Modules are faulty, as pre-determined by Unichip HQ in South Africa. Currently, there is no warranty waiver for the Unichip wiring harnesses. However, we can assure you that every harness is tested and quality checked for any faults before the product is shipped.
